-Charmed Again (4.01&02) Air Date: October 4th. 2001 A new chapter in the Charmed saga begins as the surviving sisters search for a way to stay alive and strengthen their fragile bond while they continue to vanquish the diabolical. The sisters find renewed faith in the form of an unexpected revelation: there may be yet another Halliwell offspring they never knew about - one who could reunite the power of three and return these virtuous witches to their former glory. They'll find that fighting the good fight is a deadly occupation, but one they were born to do. -Hell Hath No Fury (4.03) Air Date: October 11th. 2001 New to the witchy world of The Charmed Ones, Paige is learning to control her new telekinetic powers and steals the Book of Shadows from Phoebe and Piper to use the spells for personal gain. Meanwhile, Piper's inability to deal with her sister's recent death makes her vulnerable to the Furies, female demon vigilantes who lure her into their fold. Brian Krause and Julian McMahon also star. Chris Long directed the episode written by Krista Vernoff. -Enter The Demon (4.04) Air Date: October 18th. 2001 Paige makes a major blunder when carelessly mixing potions for Piper while secretly wishing she could be in Phoebe’s shoes training for combat, and ends up actually switching bodies with Phoebe. While the two sisters try to reverse the spell and struggle to harness each other’s powers, they must battle a Zen Master’s powerful disciple who has turned evil against his mentor and opened up a portal between two worlds. -Size Matters (4.05) Air Date: October 25th. 2001 A disfigured demon (Robert Englund) shrinks Phoebe with a metallic wand when the witch goes alone to a creepy house that Paige asks her sisters to investigate. Meanwhile, Piper hires a club promoter to redesign P3, but some of his ideas concern her. Rock guitarist Dave Navarro performs. Paige: Rose McGowan. Phoebe: Alyssa Milano. Piper: Holly Marie Combs. -A Knight to Remember (4.06) Air Date: November 1st. 2001 Paige's favorite childhood fairy tale suddenly becomes real, bringing her face-to-face with a past life as an Evil Enchantress from Medieval times (also played by Rose McGowan) and into the arms of a Knight in Shining Armor (guest star Charlie Weber). Phoebe and Piper go back in time and end up trapped in the Dark Ages. Brian Krause also stars. David Straiton directed the episode written by Alison Schapker & Monica Breen. -Brain Drain (4.07) Air Date: November 8th. 2001 Phoebe and Paige must work quickly before Piper is tricked into giving up all of their powers when The Source (guest star Ben Guillory) taps into her brain, altering her perception of reality and placing her in a mental institution. Julian McMahon and Brian Krause also star. John Behring directed the episode written by Curtis Kheel. -Black As Cole (4.08) Air Date: November 15th. 2001 In the midst of mulling over his marriage proposal, Phoebe comes face-to-face with Cole's demonic past when a widow tracks him down seeking vengeance for her husband's murder. Meanwhile, Paige encourages Piper and Leo to test their readiness to become parents. Dorian Gregory and Brian Krause also star. Les Landau directed the episode. The teleplay is written by Brad Kern and Nell Scovell and the story is by Abbey Campbell. -Muse To My Ears (4.09) Air Date: Dicember 13th. 2001 Phoebe , Paige and Piper must stop Warlocks who are enslaving the world's muses to use their divine creative inspiration for evil. In the midst of the assault, Cole becomes testy about Phoebe's rebuffing his marriage proposal and is concerned that without his demonic powers he can no longer protect the love of his life. Brian Krause also stars. Joel Feigenbaum directed the episode written by Krista Vernoff. -A Paige From The Past (4.10) Air Date: January 17th. 2002 The second time travel episode this season sees us travelling back in time to witness Paige and her adoptive family, and also the death of her adoptive parents! Paige travels with Leo back in time to when her parents were alive, and she wants desperately to change the events that led to their deaths. -Trial By Magic (4.11) Air Date: January 24th. 2002 Phoebe is on the Jury at a local court and her reason for being there is soon revealed. A man named Stanley Donatello is on trial for the murder of his wife, the twist is that he found her dead when he recieved a premonition and has been accused of the crime. The sisters must use magic to discover the real murderer. Meanwhile Glen is kidnapped by a rat demon... -Lost And Bound (4.12) Air Date: January 31th. 2002 When Paige discovers that a 10-year-old runaway (guest star Alex Black) is a firestarter, she whisks him to the manor for safekeeping. The gang soon discovers that his foster parents are, in fact, demon bounty hunters, so they protect him while trying to teach him how to use his powers for good rather than evil. Meanwhile, Cole officially proposes to Phoebe using her grandmother's ring - only to discover that the ring is cursed and turns her into the perfect 1950s housewife. Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause also star. Noel Nosseck directed the episode written by Nell Scovell. -Charmed And Dangerous (4.13) Air Date: February 7th. 2002 When The Source's Seer foresees the death of his master at the hands of the Charmed Ones The Source vows to unleash an ancient evil in an attempt to gain more power so he can destroy the Warren line forever! Meanwhile Paige must use magic to help cover up a womens bruises when she tries to gain custody of her son. -The Three Faces of Phoebe(4.14) Air Date: February 14th. 2002 Phoebe gets pre-marital cold feet and casts a spell to find out if she should marry Cole , which conjures a young, innocent Phoebe (guest star Samantha Goldstein) and an old, cynical Phoebe (guest star Francis Bay) to the Manor to help her make up her mind. Meanwhile, Cole is unable to control the evil growing within him as The Source takes over his entire being and the Seer (guest star Debbi Morgan, "Eve's Bayou") prepares for his rule of the underworld. Holly Marie Combs, Rose McGowan, Brian Krause and Dorian Gregory also star. Joel Feigenbaum directed the episode written by Curtis Kheel. -Marry-Go-Round:(4.15) Air Date: March 14th. 2002 Phoebe is hoping that everything will be perfect for her and Cole's wedding, but doesn't know that The Source has completely taken over the groom and is sabotaging the ceremony in order to orchestrate a demonic wedding which will allow their foretold son to be heir to the underworld. Cole's underhanded tactics include secretly sending a powerful demon (played by rapper Coolio) to disrupt the wedding and planting the seeds of infighting among Phoebe and her sisters, Piper and Paige.Chris Long directed the episode written by Daniel Cerone. -The Fith Halliwheel (4.16): Air Date: March 21st. 2002 Paige is feeling out of place among the happy married people - Phoebe and Cole along with Piper and Leo. The situation gets worse when Paige becomes convinced Cole's still a demon, while he secretly plots to impregnate Phoebe with his evil spawn. Debbi Morgan guest stars as The Seer. David Straiton directed the episode written by Krista Vernoff. -Saving Private Leo (417): Air Date: March 28th. 2002 After 60 years of searching, two ghosts (guest stars Costas Mandylor, "Picket Fences" and his real-life brother Louis Mandylor) who fought with Leo in WWII come after him seeking revenge for old wounds. When they turn this wrath on his loved ones and kill Piper, Phoebe and Paige face the horror of losing another sister. Story by Doug E. Jones and teleplay by Daniel Cerone; John Behring directed the episode. -Bite Me (4.18): Air Date: April 18th. 2002 With hopes of unseating Cole as the ruler of the Underworld, a Vampire Queen (guest star Elizabeth Gracen) orders her fanged charges to attack Paige and turn her into a blood-sucker to get a Charmed One on their side. Paige's undead transformation isn't sealed until she takes her first victim, and the Vampire Queen urges her to feed on her two sisters, Phoebe and Piper. John Kretchmer directed the episode written by Curtis Kheel. -We're off to see the Wizard (4.19) Air Date: April 25th. 2002 Piper and Paige team up with a magical Wizard (guest star Armin Shimerman, "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine") to stop the coronation of a new Source, not realizing that the new head of the Underworld is Cole and Phoebe is his Evil Queen-to-be. Debbi Morgan ("Eve's Bayou") guest-stars as The Seer and Michael Des Barres (Power Station, "My Guide To Becoming a Rock Star") as the Dark Priest. Brian Krause also stars. Tim Lonsdale directed the episode written by Alison Schapker & Monica Breen. -Long live the Queen(4.20): Air Date: May 2nd. 2002 Phoebe has chosen to stay with Cole and take on the role as Queen of the Underworld, but a premonition of an innocent in danger compels her to rejoin her sisters. Word spreads that the Queen is responsible for saving an innocent and Phoebe and Cole may be facing a bloody coup, with the only solution to prove their dark allegiance being to kill Piper and Paige . Jon Paré directed the episode written by Krista Vernoff. -Womb Raider (4.21): Air Date: May 9th. 2002 As Phoebe's unborn bundle of joy starts showing signs of fierce demonic powers and a violent hatred of Paige, The Seer plots to steal Phoebe's baby and magically place it in her own body, thereby gaining the power bestowed upon the heir of The Source. Holly Marie Combs, Brian Krause and Dorian Gregory also star. Mel Damski directed the episode written by Daniel Cerone. -Witch Way Now?(4.22): Air Date: May 16th. 2002 Phoebe, Paige and Piper are visited by the Angel of Destiny (guest star Dakin Matthews), who offers The Charmed Ones the chance to chart a new destiny as a reward for vanquishing The Source of All Evil. The sisters can remain Charmed or choose to relinquish their magic and live normal, demon-free lives. Brian Krause and Dorian Gregory also star.
